AA Increase Affects Domestic Flights

American Airlines has increased domestic fares by $10 one-way and $20 roundtrip in an effort to recover losses associated with recent jumps in the price of crude oil and jet fuel. Market crude oil prices have soared by close to $14 a barrel since August, translating into more than $1 billion of additional annual expenses for the airline.Only U.S. continental flights are affected by the increases
