The Arabian Nights Dinner Show in Orlando Florida

The Arabian Nights Dinner Show in Orlando Florida

by Andrew W John

The Arabian Nights Dinner Show has been thrilling visitors to Orlando for two decades now. The Arabian Nights Dinner Show is the creme de la creme of dinner shows, staged in the largest equestrian center in the word which is used for an indoor show.

This magical tale of the Princess Scheherazade and her search for her true love, Prince Khalid, features no less than 65 horses, outstanding horsemanship and stunning costumes - all integrated with the latest technology in sound, lighting and special effects. The Arabian Nights Dinner Show is an unforgettable experience.

The second that you walk into the 1,200 person capacity Palace of Horses, you will be struck speechless by the magical atmosphere as you are taken to your seats, all of which offer spectacular views of the action onstage. Those who love horses will be delighted by the beauty and strength of the Arabian Horses, the charm of the Andalusian horses, the heavy Belgian horses and Percherons. Also featured are Painted horses, reminding one of the Old West and the star of the show - The Black Stallion. Familiar to all of us from films, television and Walter Farley's books, The Black Stallion has become the symbol of the Arabian Nights Dinner Show - and with good reason; he never fails to impress visitors.

As you probably know, the food at most dinner shows leaves a lot to be desired. The Arabian Nights Dinner Show is a striking exception to the rule here. The main course offers you a choice of Grilled Chicken Breast, New York Strip Steak, Black Angus Chopped Steak or the Primavera Pasta Bowl (which can be prepared for vegans and vegetarians alike). There is also a fresh, delicious salad and scrumptious dessert along with bottomless wine, beer or soda products. The food here is terrific, unlike most dinner shows. Any special dietary needs you have can be accommodated with prior notice.

Mark Galen Miller and his family have capably produced the Arabian Nights Dinner Show since its beginning 20 years ago and is recognized as the greatest show of its kind in the world. The Arabian Nights Dinner Show has won many awards for Best Theme Restaurant, Best Dinner Theater, Best Performing Arts Group and Venue and many others. Since the show is constantly evolving with new ideas incorporated al the time, there is a loyal repeat clientele.

This is one of those very special events that truly appeals to the whole family. The show has variety, magic, spectacle and color - all linked with scintillating choreography and unsurpassable equestrianism. There's even a chariot race to stir the blood. The undoubted star of the show, though, is the Black Stallion himself, performing a number of amazing cameo roles without a rider or even a halter.

Certainly a highlight of any visit to Orlando, the Arabian Nights Dinner Show is a memorable experience. For an additional cost of around 10 dollars per person, you can take advantage of the VIP package. This will mean that not only do you receive a complimentary drink in the VIP lounge before dinner, you will also have seats in the first three rows, a free show poster and the opportunity to go backstage to meet the stars prior to the show.

For anyone who enjoys the thrills and spectacle of excellent live theater, the Arabian Nights Dinner Show is clearly the place to go.

The Arabian Dinner Show sounds fantastic. Will have to add that to my tings to do list in Orlando! We thoroughly enjoyed the Medieval Times Dinner Show, which also had horses but not 65!!! Wow - they must have a huge stable.
