Newaygo, The Newaygo Chamber of Commerce launched a new blog to promote tourism through travel articles and local business through press releases and featured business articles.

"The Chamber needed an online presence to market the areas news, events and attractions on a more immeadiate response than it gets with a regular website" said Adam Wright, Chamber Director.

"Once we are established, we will have travel editors and other media sources re-publishing our articles, news and events through our RSS Feeds and thus will increase traffic to the Chamber website and to those of our members" added Brent Vanderstelt, Chamber Board Member.

"We have a backlog of Newaygo Area travel articles that have been sent in already and will be adding featured area businesses and local press release" said Brent who will oversee publishing of articles and comments to the blog.

The new Newaygo Naturally Blog will also add as an added benefit to the Chamber and area business to get the media coverage needed to substain growth and backlinks to area business websites.

Local businesses that wish to submit a press release, informative article or announce an event should contact the Chamber. Residents or guests that wish to submit an article may also do so through the blog or the Chamber.

The blog was set into motion my Brent Vanderstelt, an avid blogger with 5 successful blogs to his credit and several travel booking websites and a new Free Vacation Rental Direcotry.
